How to get the best temperature readings from home thermometers?

Oral Thermometers

1. Wash with soap and warm water prior using

2. Avoid consuming hot or cold food prior to taking your temperature

3. Place under the tongue and close your mouth until it beeps before removing


Infrared Thermometers

1. Place the sensor on the centre of the forehead and slide toward the top of the ear until you get to the hairline

2. Readings can be inaccurate if placement and motion is not carried out properly. If the measurement seems off, try again.
